Roy and Monah Scarsbrook visit

Roy is preaching for us next Sunday and will tell us a little of what they are up to now they are back in UK living in Northamptonshire.

Lighthouse Weekend away?

We are thinking it might be good to have a weekend away for prayer, fellowship and Bible study. These things usually cost £80-£90 per person (less for children) and are usually in the countryside. What do you think? Talk or email to Neville or Erik and chat with other people about it.

Erik’s new website

He has started a new site which will eventually be the main store for his work materials. It already has a detailed “map” of the book of Revelation and a “Prezi” presentation on some of the “sevens” of the Bible. There will, hopefully, be many more additions. Check out www.erik.uk7.net.

Parent and Toddler Group

Parents and toddlers are welcome on Wednesday morning at 10-12.  Please pass on the news to anyone with young children.

Saturday Music Practice

Every Saturday around 10.00 to 11.30 a.m. we will be practicing music, singing, drumming and percussion for our songs of praise.  We are starting with songs we know but we will work towards developing new songs as well.

Weekly Events at the Lighthouse

The following events usually happen each week, however, it is best to check before coming along - just in case.

Sunday - Morning Service : We start at 10.30 a.m. (or at least we try to!). The sermons are recorded and added to the website later. During the service we run two Bible study groups for our younger visitors, all welcome.

Wednesday - Parent’n’toddler : 10 a.m. until midday, as above.

Thursday - Bible Study : At 8 p.m., gather around God’s word at Erik and Sue’s House, 15 Tomlins Grove.

Friday - Young teens : 7.30pm - see above.

Saturday - Prayer meeting : The church prayer meeting takes place at 9 a.m. at the church building (use the Maddams street entrance). It runs for 45 minutes; tea and coffee are served at the start and sometimes there are croissants or cakes afterwards.
